We have also donated £1,000 to Crosslinks, a registered charity who are helping tackle HIV Aids in Makelle.The nurse Karen Salmon in charge actually comes from Greenisland, County Antrim, NI - small world. The Irish Rovers are pleased to be able to support Karen who works in a youth centre in Mekelle, Tigray. Karen has made our £1,000 donation go a long way with the purchase of a Guitar and amplifier for use in Aids awareness events, Training shoes, socks and t-shirts for the girls basketball team and the provision of some water and fruit during matches.
