Support Irish Rovers

Irish Rovers is a charity that is working to change your perception and challenge you to make a difference to the lives of Bangladeshi and Ethiopian children by giving them an opportunity for a basic education.

The love of football is a common bond throughout many countries and cultures. Even in the poorest countries where people face a daily struggle to survive a love of sport and especially football is a unifying activity.

The Irish Rovers approach of using football as a focus to Kick Poverty was born from the experience of individuals from Ireland working in the poorest developing world. The charity developed from a team of football coaches, development workers and their friends wanting to make a lasting difference.

Irish Rovers utilises support from individuals, schools and corporate sponsorship to cover costs, ensuring that all funds raised goes directly to support specific families and schools in the poverty stricken parts of Ethiopia and Bangladesh.
